EP020 – Getting into Birmingham Roller Pigeons
Hi Mark your right rollers are very satisfying I got out of racing because business and family commitments then getting near retirement I thought rollers would be a good idea. Don’t kid yourself it’s a lot of work as much as the racers but your right your in your back yard. Oh sorry I didn’t say where I was from Canada it was year 3 before the bop really found me, sometimes 3 attack’s different hawks in a fly. Needless to say after a couple years of that I packed it in when you breed 50 youngsters and they get 48 of them it’s discouraging and trust me I was on top of them. Anyway the rollers are beautiful but I packed it in and went back to racing I think in 4 years the bop have got 2 birds of mine around the loft good luck.
